I'm sure you've all seen the wonderful adverts offering websites for £99 but beware we have looked into these and your business could come really unstuck if you are not careful. These are the questions you should a ask yourself and a potential designer before committing
- Is there a real contact phone number for them and address or only a mobile and po box number, if the later avoid like the plaque as they could easily disappear without a trace.
- Will you own the domain name and website including all logins, again if no you could be held to ransom or your site sold off to somebody else, we have seen this happen.
- Is the site an easily maintained CMS such as Joomla or Wordpress, if not be prepared to shell out big bucks when you want something changed.
- Look at what you actually get and what are the hidden extras. The latest local £99 offer we have seen all you get is a one page very boring site with a map and address, anything more is then suddenly charged at £60 per hour.
So as you can see you need to ask the right questions before getting taken for a ride. With us a website starts at £150 (that's only £50) . Its yours from day one with no hidden charges and is easy to expand yourself being a CMS system. We will take the time to build something how you want it look not a quick samey site.
